NGIL congratulates Christian Howard on his licentiate thesis!

On November 5th 2010 Christian Howard presented his licentate thesis Allocation Decisions and Emergency Shipments in Multi-Echelon Inventory Control, an NGIL funded research

Christian is a PhD student in the Department of Industrial Management and Logisticsa at Lund University, Faculty of Engineering. The objective of the research is to develop mathematical models for efficient control of stochastic multi-echelon inventory distribution systems with focus on demand pooling through sharing of emergency supplies.

The discussant was Dr. Christian Larsen, Aarhus School of Business, Professor at Department of Business Studies
