VINNOVA decision to end financing of NGIL04/01/2011VINNOVA has decided to end funding of NGIL from January 1st, 2011. During autumn 2010, NGIL stage 2 was evaluated by an external international evaluation team. Their report formed the basis for VINNOVAs decision not to grant any further funding. Final report for stage one and two will be completed during the first half of 2011. VINNOVA intends to complete financing the PhD students within NGIL until June 30th, 2012; salary costs up to 50 % and over heads with 35 %. There is also an opportunity for projects in the NGIL project portfolio that clearly provide industrial benefits to be further funded after renewed application.
